May 9 – IAEM-USA leadership hosted the third IAEM Virtual Happy Hour, where they discussed upcoming events and programs within IAEM. Nearly 30 participants attended the event.
April 26 – IAEM-USA Region 3 President Eric Gaull, CEM, presented an IAEM R3 Lifetime Achievement Award to Matthew Butler, the EM at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

On March 21, IAEM President Justin Kates joined BCEM President Mark Sloan and NEMA President Russ Strickland on Capitol Hill for a briefing on emergency management legislative priorities. Hosted by the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee, the briefing provided an opportunity for the Big Three to advocate our shared agenda directly to Capitol Hill staff.
